The XC-ESC XC-GL6 is a powerful 200A FOC sensored brushless electronic speed controller designed for large-scale RC crawlers. Developed as part of the XC-ESC GL Series FOC Brushless Crawler Power System range, the XC-GL6 is built for drivers who need precise low-speed control, strong torque delivery and reliable performance in demanding crawler applications.
FOC stands for Field-Oriented Control. This advanced control principle allows the ESC to manage the motor current more precisely and efficiently than a conventional brushless control system. For crawler use, this is especially important because it helps deliver smooth, linear torque from very low speed, giving the driver better control over rocks, steep climbs, technical obstacles and slow-speed manoeuvres.
The XC-GL6 is designed for use with sensored brushless crawler motors. By using sensor feedback from the motor, the controller knows the rotor position and can deliver power with exceptional accuracy. This results in smooth start-up, precise throttle response, strong low-speed torque and predictable control when the vehicle is crawling over difficult terrain.
Compatible with 3S to 8S LiPo batteries, the XC-GL6 is ideal for high-power 1/5 and 1/6 scale crawler builds. Its 200A current rating provides the performance reserve needed for large vehicles, heavy tyres, high-traction conditions and demanding off-road use.
Built-in Bluetooth makes setup and tuning convenient. ESC settings can be adjusted without using a traditional external programming box, while online upgrade support, turbo timing and X.BUS real-time tuning provide additional flexibility for advanced users.
The integrated high-power BEC offers selectable 6.0V, 7.4V and 8.4V output, with 8A to 25A max current. This provides strong and stable power for high-torque crawler steering servos and demanding large-scale RC electronics.
Designed for serious crawler use, the XC-GL6 features intelligent heat dissipation, thermal protection, built-in anti-spark protection and IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof protection.
