The XC-ESC XC-GL10 is a dedicated FOC sensored brushless electronic speed controller designed for 1/10 scale RC crawlers. Developed as part of the XC-ESC GL Series FOC Brushless Crawler Power System range, the XC-GL10 focuses on ultra-smooth throttle control, high low-speed torque and precise power delivery for technical crawling and scale off-road driving.
FOC stands for Field-Oriented Control. Instead of simply driving the motor in a basic brushless mode, FOC technology controls the motor current in a more precise and efficient way. This allows the ESC to deliver very smooth, linear torque, especially at low speed. For crawler applications, this is a major advantage because it gives the driver better control over rocks, steep climbs, technical terrain and slow-speed manoeuvres.
The XC-GL10 is designed for use with sensored brushless crawler motors. By using motor sensor feedback, the ESC knows the exact rotor position and can deliver torque more accurately and consistently. This results in excellent start-up control, smooth throttle response, strong holding power and predictable behaviour when driving slowly over difficult terrain.
Compatible with 2S to 4S LiPo batteries, the XC-GL10 offers plenty of flexibility for 1/10 crawler setups. Its 80A current rating provides strong performance for demanding crawler applications, while the compact size makes installation practical in a wide range of scale and performance crawler chassis.
The controller includes crawler-specific tuning options such as torque compensation, simulation inertia and drag force adjustment. These settings allow the driver to fine-tune the vehicle behaviour depending on the terrain, driving style and motor setup. The smart torque output helps the crawler adapt to different conditions, while the strong drag brake support improves slope parking and helps prevent the vehicle from rolling on steep inclines.
Built-in Bluetooth makes programming simple and convenient. ESC settings can be adjusted directly through the mobile app, without the need for a traditional external programming box. The XC-GL10 also supports data logging and real-time monitoring, allowing users to view operational data such as voltage, current, ESC temperature, motor temperature and motor RPM through the app.
The integrated BEC provides 6A to 13A max output, with selectable 6.0V and 7.4V voltage options. This gives stable power to the receiver and high-voltage steering servos commonly used in crawler applications.
Built for real off-road use, the XC-GL10 features smart cooling, cycle-by-cycle current control and IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof protection.
