Introducing our top-of-the-line MOD 1 Castle Creations Pinions, meticulously manufactured from hardened steel and featuring the largest Allen head set screw available. These pinions are specifically designed for optimal performance in 1:8 scale buggy and truggy conversions.
Please note that these pinions are not compatible with the 1721 series motor, which utilizes an 8mm shaft. Currently, Castle Creations does not offer MOD 1 pinions with an 8mm bore. For alternative options, we recommend checking out Saga Custom RC.
You can select from a range of tooth counts to suit your specific needs: 11T, 13T, 15T, 17T, 19T, 21T, and 23T. Our pinions feature a 5mm bore and are accompanied by a 4mm set screw. To securely fasten the pinion to the motor shaft, a 1.5mm hex wrench is required. For added assurance, we recommend applying a small drop of blue Loctite, a thread adhesive, to firmly secure the set screw in place.
