The ZTW Mantis Nano 80A HV OPTO G2 is a compact high-voltage brushless ESC designed for RC airplanes, fixed-wing models, sport aircraft, electric gliders and EDF applications. With 80A continuous current, 90A burst current and support for 6-14S LiPo/LiHV battery setups, this ESC is suitable for demanding high-voltage aircraft setups where compact size, low weight and reliable throttle control are important.
The Mantis Nano HV G2 uses a high-performance 32-bit microprocessor for fast response, smooth start-up and accurate throttle linearity. Its compact design makes it a strong choice for pilots who need high-voltage power capability in a lightweight installation.
This is an OPTO ESC, which means it has no built-in BEC. The receiver and servos must therefore be powered by a separate receiver battery or an external UBEC system. This design is especially suitable for larger or higher-performance aircraft where a dedicated and independent receiver power supply is preferred.
The ESC includes multiple protection functions such as start-up protection, thermal overload protection, low-voltage cut-off, signal-loss protection and phase-loss protection. Programming is possible via transmitter setup, the optional ZTW G2 LCD programming card or the optional ZTW Bluetooth module/app.
