The ZTW Mantis 130A HV OPTO G2 is a powerful high-voltage brushless ESC designed for RC airplanes, fixed-wing models, sport aircraft and EDF applications. With 130A continuous current, 150A burst current and support for 6-14S LiPo/LiHV battery setups, this ESC is suitable for larger high-performance electric aircraft that require strong power delivery, precise throttle control and reliable high-voltage operation.
The Mantis HV OPTO G2 series is equipped with a high-performance 32-bit microprocessor for fast response, smooth start-up, accurate throttle linearity and excellent motor compatibility. The advanced MOSFET design helps reduce heat generation, while the integrated 30 mm cooling fan and optimized airflow structure improve heat dissipation during demanding flight conditions.
This is an OPTO ESC, which means it has no built-in BEC. The receiver and servos must therefore be powered by a separate receiver battery or an external UBEC system. This design is especially suitable for larger aircraft and high-performance setups where an independent receiver power supply is preferred.
The Mantis 130A HV OPTO G2 supports telemetry, data logging and real-time data output, including current, voltage, temperature, RPM, throttle status and ESC status when used with compatible ZTW programming equipment. The ESC also includes multiple protection functions such as start-up protection, overheat protection, low-voltage cut-off, overcurrent protection and signal-loss protection.
Programming is possible via transmitter setup, the optional ZTW G2 LCD programming card or the optional ZTW Bluetooth module/app.
