The XC-ESC XC-W400 is an extreme high-power 400A sensorless brushless marine electronic speed controller designed for racing and competition RC boats. As part of the XC-ESC Marine Brushless ESC range, the XC-W400 is built to deliver explosive acceleration, instant throttle response and stable high-power performance for demanding marine applications.
Compatible with 6S to 12S LiPo batteries, the XC-W400 is developed for powerful RC boat setups where current handling, cooling efficiency and reliable throttle control are essential. It is especially suitable for large-scale racing boats, catamarans and high-performance competition-style marine builds that require serious power and consistent performance on the water.
The XC-W400 is designed for use with sensorless brushless motors. This makes it a practical and powerful solution for marine applications where simple installation, robust operation and high-output performance are required. Its hull-optimized control algorithm helps deliver agile handling, strong acceleration and stable performance at high speed.
Marine ESCs are exposed to high thermal loads, especially in large and fast boats. To manage this, the XC-W400 uses an efficient dual-tube water-cooling system. This cooling design helps reduce temperature rise and keeps the ESC operating within a stable performance range during hard runs and high-load operation.
Built-in Bluetooth makes setup and tuning easy. ESC parameters can be adjusted through the XC-Link mobile app without using a traditional programming box, cables or computer. The app also supports firmware upgrades, real-time data monitoring and data logging, giving users practical access to important performance information directly at the lakeside.
The integrated high-power BEC supports demanding marine electronics and high-voltage steering servos. With selectable 6.0V, 7.4V and 8.4V output and up to 25A max current, the XC-W400 provides strong and stable power for high-performance boat setups.
Designed for high-voltage marine use, the XC-W400 includes built-in anti-spark protection to help protect the battery and ESC during connection.
